Springbank 17 year old Refill Sherry Cask

Tasting Notes
Conclusion
This was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted! From the first hit of the nail polish remover on the nose, I knew I was going to love this Springbank. The complete and total difference between the nose, taste, and finish made for a confusing and complex dram that was truly fun to drink! I don’t think I’ve ever described a whisky as “fun” before, but this one demands that title.
A local pub was selling this by the pour for $11 (!!!), and I’m already planning a time to go and try this again. The bottle said it was 1 of 438 from quite a few years ago, so I’m guessing it will be hard to find, but if you ever do, this is a must buy for a Springbank fan or anyone who likes complex and unique whisky. I just wish I had more of this to review ;)
